I received an e-mail from Tommys War today.
After some thought, I am re-aligning Tommy’s War to focus on figures. With the success of both Tommy’s War and Victoria’s Heroes, and with a new figure range to be announced this year, I am finding my time (and resources) are best spent in figures.

I’ve already taken the decision to withdraw TW54E01 from the range and after a lot of consideration I can announce that I will not be re-casting the Thornycroft or Crossley kits once they are sold-out and that they will be officially withdrawn from the catalogue.

I have a limited number of each kit which I am pleased to bring to my
most loyal customers first. ( remember Collectors Club Members your unique 10% discount applies saving between £6 - £9 per vehicle )

They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. I only have very limited numbers of each, so act fast to avoid disappointment;
Darren

I know they chose 1/32 because of 54mm figures, but that scale didn't have much potential for vehicles, except for aircraft dioramas...

Then again, with the steady increase in WW1 aircraft kits, I'd assume there was some marked there. (And it highlights that 1:35 really is an outlier in the scale hierarchy. 24/32/48/72/144.

They are really beautiful kits and would work will with 1/32 WNW aircraft. And the notion that 1/35th scale is some "outlier" is belied by the thousands of kits and figures in that size.

I can surely recommend Tommy`s war both regarding the products and the service aswell. If you like to give figures a try it might be your choice. Sad to see the vehicles go but I look forward to new figures. Best regards. Dennis
