Tommy's War released a new 1/32 scale figure from Gallipoli - World War I.
TW54032 - Private, 1st Bn Wellington Infantry Regiment NZEF, Chunuk Bair 1915
Scale : 1/32
Material : Grey resin+PE
Parts : 9 resin parts and PE rifle sling (Figure includes 3 head choices)

The figure shows the uniform as it had been adapted for the difficult conditions of Chunuk Bair (Conk Bayiri in Turkish) - Gallipoli. He has cut serge service trousers into shorts and wearing just his greyblack shirt. He has discarded his issue 1908 webbing equipment in favour of the 1903 pattern 50 round bandolier.
Figure has 3 head options;
1. Lemon squeezer hat – 1st Bn Wellington Infantry Bn NZEF
2. Slouch hat – 3rd Bn Australian Imperial Force
3. Soft service cap (with neck protection) – 6th Bn Loyal North Lancashire Regiment
3 heads offer different regiment choices. The slouch hat was also worn by New Zealand forces (particularly mounted infantry) and the soft service cap was worn by New Zealand, Australian and British regiments in Gallipoli.
The company announced all orders containing this figure will be shipped week commencing 20th June 2016.
