AC Models is working on a new 1/35 scale figure set depicting African pick-up crew.
We don't have much info on this set at the moment, just the photos taken from Facebook. The figures and stowage are sculpted by Andy Cairns and the set seems to be designed to fit Meng's pick up. We'll post more info as soon as we get it.

A couple of weeks ago Andy came to the LHS as part of the 2nd annual "Pantherpalooza". He put on a great scratch building figure seminar. Nice guy too ! Anyway, this is a subject that is way underserved in both figures & equipment. But, I agree with Anto992 a pick up truck filled with Taliban & gear would be a great next subject for Andy to tackle. Ok, I know malnutrition is a big issue in African countries, but I think he's overdoing it with those arms

Big fan of Andy's work --- he's got an awesome, very natural-looking sculpting style! Got this one on the list along with the two mercenary sets. I wonder if with some modification, he'd release a set like this with civilians on the way to work or wherever...?

I would prefer men wearing thong slippers insteat of boots. Or sneakers in alternative. Anyway great figures and yes we do not need all that waste of resin :-) . My two cents Moreno
