There is a new version of Diopark's German Civilian car from the 70', with living supplies.
This vehicle, which looks very similar to a Mercedes Benz W123, was extensively used during the 70's and was common to see in the Middle East.

There was already a version with IED accessories, so this is a slightly different kit with living accessories like jerrycans, spare tire or iceboxes, that can be shown carried on the roof rack.

Being a German car (German engineering and all that crap) has nothing to do with it. Most modern cars, if properly maintained, will run upwards of 250,000 to 300,000 miles. The issue is most people do not keep their vehicles properly maintained. I have an '03 Chevy Tahoe that looks brand new and just turned over 191,000 miles on it. No rust and everything works, etc... Sure I have had to make some minor repairs over the years, but nothing out of the ordinary. I just completed a trip from Tampa, FL to DC with it last night, pulling a double-axle U-Haul trailer all the way. It made the trip down there last week pulling a car carrier. It made it with no issues and ran 75-80 mph both ways. A great vehicle!

We still have some of these Mercs still running here... but if you really want to talk about a car that keeps on going like the Energizer Bunny... it's the Peugot 504.. Those things just won't quit.. they drive them as taxis in rural areas. on rough roads.. out in the desert.. everywhere.. My late uncle bought his back in '71.. Drove it to Lebanon to visit us ages ago.. drove to Iraq back when he was working at the embassy there... and his son is still driving it now Hisham

Maybe not 85 but over 60 and the owners day to day car, not a sunny sunday only oldtimer: LINK It is the post war variant but the existing 170V kit is close. And there is at least one more in Krefeld.

I'm just excited for the Taxi sign it comes with. I've always wanted one for a BMP-1P seen in South Ossetia.

I personally know a guy that drives several of his un-restored Ford Model As on an every-day basis- 1929 Pick-up 1929 Roadster 1930 Fordor Sedan 1931 Cabriolet He also has several that he has restored to "show-room" condition, plus several that are not running, but he says that they will be, "soon"- whatever that means. He also has quite a few other American cars from the 1930-1949 eras; Buicks, Chevrolets, a 1938 Cadillac, a 1931 air-cooled Franklin, and a host of other "newer" cars... Obviously, he has a LOT of money...

Thanks for the review! A nice add in a ReForGer dio. Since many German and Dutch farmers and cattle traders were driving them, the only missing items are a pair of rubber boots and a cattle trailer coupling.
