Trackpad Publishing’s Model Foto Focus series presents its walkaround book on the last Leopard 1 introduced into the Bundeswehr.
The Leopard 1 is a main battle tank designed and produced in West Germany that first entered service in 1965. It became a standard of European forces, and eventually served as the main battle tank in over a dozen countries worldwide. Over the years variants have been introduced, and by the 1980s, further improvements resulted into the 1A5 -- having a completely modern fire control system, fully effective night/bad-weather vision system among other modifications. It is said, that in most ways, the 1A5 may be considered the standard Leopard 1 today.

1A5: The Ultimate Leopard 1 caters not only to the armor enthusiast, but to modelers as well. The book presents the Leopard 1A5 in great detail. It gives the reader a thorough look around the exterior of the Leopard 1A5 by way of full-view colored photos that are equally captioned.

This Model Foto Focus book has over 260 photos, with some sized as full page, and spread over 80 pages.
