ACE Model has announced the availability of its Leichter Radschlepper Laffly W15T.
Laffly was a French manufacturer of trucks and utility vehicles. During the inter-war years and up to the World War II, it manufactured a range of rough-terrain vehicles for the French military. Ace Model’s previous Laffly releases were on the W15T light artillery tractor and W15T CC tank hunter variants.

The subject model is the German-modified version. ACE Model Kit# 72538 re-creates this vehicle in 1/35 scale, and may be built as either a 2 or 3 axle configuration. The kit includes plastic parts, rubber tires, and decals.

Never seen one of these before, and I'm just not sure that I realy want to. There's something profoundly disturbing about something that has a sleek upper that somewhat resembles a late-war 251 and then this huge overhang with absurd (though undoubtedly useful!) little front wheels. Curious to know more about it, though.
