Meng Model collaborates with Roqovan Studio for a new line of model kits.
Meng Model announced that it is working with Roqovan Studio to provide model kits inspired by its World War Toons game. World War Toons is a first person shooter (FPS) game set in the WWII era where soldiers, guns, and tanks are cartoonized. Meng Model brings these figures and tanks as kits, and these were recently presented to the public during the World War Toons launch party aboard the USS Iowa.

AGREE- I think that a lot of modellers seem to forget that this genre is where DRAGON gets their "REAL" money from... I'm thinking that if the plastic model companies keep producing these kinds of model kits, then there just might be a better chance of us seeing the kind of stuff that we on this and other model sites like to collect and build. The "up" side is that maybe more kids will gradually become interested in "scale" modelling, and developing better and better skills as time goes on... I WOULD buy a model of Donald Duck as he was seen in the WWII-era cartoon, "Der Fuehrer's Face"! THAT cartoon was a RIOT!!!

I buy the Meng for Kids models for my daughter. I wonder if these are similar in skill level. I would buy unicorn meat from Meng if they sold it. Anything to make them profit so they can keep my stash full of exquisite kits.

Just bought both kits, in stock, at HE for $21 total including small packets shipping. Cheap enough to just through together and have some fun over a weekend. And no rivets to count.

Wouldn't mind some sci-fi stuff, or fantasy. (Not "what-if's". Enough of them already!)

I'm all for it. Just hope that they won't forget us like dragon if they succeed.

Guys, we are the one making World War Toons game. We are working with Meng to produce these cartoony tanks. But as some of you pointed out, one of the biggest motivation behind producing these tanks were to introduce modeling world to the younger builders. Also, come up with kits that could be interesting to more seasoned builders. We really went out of our way to keep the spirit of all the WWII tanks in the game and the plastic model.
