We introduce another product range of products from VMS – diorama products. Mud, fixer and special PVA glue will help to achieve better terrains.
The HD diorama range comprises the following products:
  • Smart Mud XL DIY texturing paste in 5 realistic colours
  • Sand & Ballast Freeze - a special glue for loose material
  • Classic PVA adhesive - a more translucent and quicker white glue.

Smart Mud XL is a new kind of product which will help to create all kinds of terrains. To use it, mix the pre-coloured resin with texturing material in 1:1 ratio and then thicken the system as desired using the bundled activator.
The DIY nature of the product has the following advantages:
*It allows to prepare dry, partially wet (satin) or wet mud with the same one product using different texturing material to resin ratios – you are not tied to one finish.
*Thickness can be regulated using activator, make looser or thicker paste depending on your project,
*3 micronised texture types, textures are very fine and appropriate for scales from 1:72 to 1:35 but you can also use your own texturing material
*Ready-made diorama pastes age and cake, Smart Mud XL is always factory fresh,
*2 volumes to choose from, 180 and 360 ml.

Sand & Ballast Freeze allows to freeze in place heaps of sand, ballast, gravel or rubble by saturating them with glue via capillary action – a handy dropper bottle is bundled along with the bigger refill. Volumes of 140 and 230 ml is enough to finish any project.

Classic PVA is your standard white glue but improved – joints are way more translucent and the glue itself bonds faster.

Wish I had known about the freeze product when I was doing my sand dunes! As for the mud, it seems like you can do something similar with dry wall paste like spackle... I would love to give this a try!
