i am really happy with this news but after some compare with their CAD images, i am worring about some detail... as you can see, there was light for some guns. it seems that kit represents this "with light version" there is electric wire back side of the shiled and look at the some details 1. there is no wire for the light. 2. the chain and small stick part(?) is omitted and frame for shield in the big red circle is different shape.(yes, some guns have the same frame with kit CAD but at least different with this model) 3. the sight is not fully depicted at the kit and some parts seems omitted. 4. at least with this CAD, the left upper shield looks short. 5. decals are needed to depict the fire tables. should this kit need some modification? or i understand something wrong? since kit is not released yet, i hope they check can about this for the perfect kit. i really love this kit and really want their kit to be excellent

One more piece of trivia: When the PaK 40 was pulled by the full tracked RSO the jerking and twitching caused when turning caused the sight and gun to become misaligned. Even if the gun itself was travelling on rubber rimmed steel wheels the sideways yanking of the gun "legs" when the tow hitch moved sideways was enough to cause bad swinging in the gun. / Robin

Depending on the price I'm definitely interested in this, high time the old Esci offering was updated. The figures are nice (I can see them either in a vignette or a larger diorama entering the cage in Tunisia at the end of Panzerarmee Afrika) too, though I forever bemoan companies NOT giving the correct number of crew members!
