For those who may have missed this, Resicast has announced that this kit is back in production.
Mounted on a Churchill AVRE, the Small Box Girder (SBG) assault bridge provided a light but strong bridging solution, able to span gaps of up to 30 feet. The SBG was deployed by assault teams to cross sea walls and other obstacles that needed bridging during the Normandy invasion of 1944.
Mastered by Graham Sellar, Resicast’s SBG Assault Bridge (351119) is a complete resin kit that contains more than 100 parts including photo-etched details. For use with the AFV Club Churchill AVRE.
