IBG Models shares CAD images of its soon-to-be released Swedish tank.
Sweden’s Stridsvagn m/40 (Strv m/40) roots may be traced back to the Landsverk L-60, a light tank that was developed in 1934. There were two models of the m/40: designated as L and K. Compared with the m/40 L, the m/40 K had thicker armor at 50mm and heavier as well, at 10.9 tons. To compensate for the added weight, the Scania-Vabis L603 engine was installed. Dimensions were the same for both models, as well as armament – a single 37mm Bofors main gun with 2 x 8mm Madsen ksp m/39 anti-infantry machine guns
IBG Models’ Stridsvagn m/40 K Swedish light tank (72035) is planned for release within the current quarter.
