Announced during its hobby fair last November 2016 at Shizuoka, Tamiya has now announced its general availability this March. A Zimmerit sheet for this kit will also be made available as a separate item.
German Heavy Tank Destroyer Elefant (32589)
Appearing during the latter stages of the Second World War, the Elefant mounted the famous 8.8cm gun and had frontal armor up to 200mm thick. Kit highlights:
Zimmerit Coating Sheet for 1/48 Scale Elefant (12671)
This coating sheet is designed for the Tamiya 1/48 scale Elefant model (32589). The pattern is cut from the sheet, applied to the model, and may be painted over.
