For fans of early armor comes this recovery vehicle kit from Panzer Shop.
The Gun Carrier Mk. I is regarded as the first self-propelled artillery to be produced. Based on the Mk I tank, it was designed to carry either the 6 inch BL howitzer, or 60 pounder BL Mark I. Firing may be done with gun dismounted or in place, as in the case of the howitzer. Two vehicles out of the order of fifty were finished as Gun Carrier Mk. I Cranes, and deployed as salvage / supply vehicles that featured a hand-operated crane.
Panzer Shop’s Gun Carrier Mk. I Crane (P35C1872) is a complete resin kit rendered in 1/35 scale. The kit contains photo-etched parts as well.
