IBG Models has announced the release of its Swedish light tank and shared photos on what to expect inside the box.
Sweden’s Stridsvagn m/40 (Strv m/40) roots may be traced back to the Landsverk L-60, a light tank that was developed in 1934. There were two models of the m/40: designated as L and K. Compared with the m/40 L, the m/40 K had thicker armor and was heavier as well. Both versions mounted the same armaments: a single 37mm Bofors main gun with 2 x 8mm Madsen ksp m/39 anti-infantry machine guns.
IBG Models’ Stridsvagn m/40 K Swedish Light Tank (72035) is offered as a 1/72 injection-molded kit with link-and-length tracks.
