Dan Taylor Modelworks announces three new 1/72 conversions for British Matilda, Stuart and Cruiser Tanks.
There are also two sets of Ammunition Boxes B167, with and without handles, at 1/76

A12 Matilda MkII BEF Conversion Set
S-Model's Matilda needs, a number of changes in order to backdate it to the style of Matilda used by the British Expeditionary Force in France, 1940.

Their mixed media kit provides parts in etched brass and resin to convert the plastic kit into an authentic reproduction. It includes raised track, a replacement bow section (with open driver's hatch), revised exhaust, and replacement gun mantlet (with Vickers MG housing), amongst other details.

A9 Cruiser Mk I Desert Conversion
The new model of the Cruiser Mk I by​​​ Plastic Soldier Company is aimed at the wargaming market, and as such there are plenty of details to be improved in order make a display model.

This mixed media kit provides details in resin and etched brass to bring the most out of the model, finishing it as a more authentic representation of the type as used in the Western Desert.

Stuart Mk V (M3A3) Dust Shields
One minor drawback of both the S-Model and Mirage kits of the M3A3 Light ank is that they come without dustshields. True, they often came off, or were removed, but many pictures of the vehicle in action in Normandy show them with some or all of the shields in place.

This set provides etched brass dust shields, plus a resin insert to extend the front of the track guard to the correct line.

Ammunition Boxes B167
A pack of four etched brass ammunition boxes which simply fold to shape. The B167 boxes were used for various stores- chiefly grenades and 2-inch mortars. They were frequently recycled and attached to armoured vehicles to hold personal stowage. The fret is made with internal detail so that the boxes can be built with the lid open.

This set has the handles built into the side walls of each box. There is also another set of boxes without the handles.
