The next IJA armor released by IBG Models is the late model of the Type 94 tankette. Here they have shared photos of sprues that make up the kit.
The Type 94 was a tankette used by the Imperial Japanese Army in the Second Sino-Japanese War, at Nomonhan against the Soviet Union, and in World War II. Although tankettes were often used as ammunition tractors, and general infantry support, they were designed for reconnaissance, and not for direct combat. It is estimated that more than 800 Type 94s were produced.
IBG Models’ Type 94 Japanese Tankette, Late, with Towed Idler Wheel (72044) is an injection-molded kit that features a quick-build running gear / track assembly. Photo-etched parts are included as well.
