For fans of modeling subjects from The Great War comes this artillery tractor and gun kit from Roden.
Founded in 1909, the Four Wheel Drive Auto Company (FWD) was a pioneering American company that developed and produced all-wheel drive vehicles. FWD created and built the Model B truck that saw wide use during the First World War by the American and British armed forces. It was deployed in a variety of roles such as a mobile repair shop, ammunition carriers and tractors for heavy artillery. There were more than 17,000 units built.
Roden’s kit #713 depicts the FWD Model B 3-ton truck towing the BL 8-inch howitzer Mk VI.
