The latest from Model Miniature is a 1/72 kit of this modern, 4x4 all-terrain vehicle by Panhard.
Developed in 1988, the Panhard VBL (Vehicule Blinde Leger) armored scout car has been used in variety of roles such as scouting, reconnaissance, raiding, screening, patrolling, escorting convoys. There are a number of specialized versions of this armored vehicle as well. It proved to be a successful vehicle, having more than 2,300 built. The Panhard VBL is currently in service with France and around 20 other countries.

Model Miniature’s kit, MM-R215, is offered as a complete resin kit. Its high level of detail is attributed to the use of the latest in 3D technology. The kit provides for the following:

  • complete interior
  • figure
  • antennas
  • transparent windows
  • wheels (Type 2)
Background information on the vehicle sourced from Military-Today.com and Wikipedia.

this looks incredible... I have no interest in the vehicle itself, but the model looks amazing.

Looks really great, but 22 euro... VBL 12.7mm in 1/35 costs 27 USD (including shipping) on Ebay.

Come on guys, 22 euros does not cost you an arm or a leg. It is a full resin model with an interior and a figure. How much do you think it would cost to buy any other braille scale resin models? I have seen plastic 1/72 scale models costing as much as 1/35 scale ones. Olivier

Sorry Matthew, I should have written "come on guy" as my comment was an answer to Dmitriy. Olivier
