Amusing Hobby is preparing a new Paper Panzer, the Panzerkleinzerstörer Rutscher.
This curious vehicle was projected in 1943 as a light tank destroyer, armed with two 8cm PAW 8H63 gun.

A wood mock-up was even built, but the project was abandoned.

This kit will not be sold independently, but bundled with the Bär and the E-100 from Amusing Hobby

Maybe together with optional davits so that it can be used as rescue/escape vehicle if the Bär or E-100 gets disabled ....

Isn't this the faked E-15 design?

Totally different vehicle -- running gear layout, tracks, and most notable was its twin gun. This one at least got as far as a wooden mock-up, and I doubt whether the E-15 even made it to paper.

E-15 meant 15 tons class right? This is MUCH lighter. Cheers, Christophe

Interesting nickname; "Rutscher" loosely translates to mean "slider". Poor driving characteristics or that it just slid in under the radar? The low-pressure 88s were an interesting choice that probably needed more development work to be able to successfully engage armour at long ranges. All the same it might have been an interesting alternative to a STUG.

I read that the project started late 1943, but by early 1944 it was dropped in favor of the more cost-effective Jpz 38. It was revived in January 1945, but eventually got scrapped as it was deemed to take more time to further develop it. This one reminds me of the JGSDF Type 60; also the M50 Ontos, which to me, looks even wackier.

If you mean the e-5, then no, there is no evidence for this tank in WW2 sources either.
