Tamiya has announced a new model, the British SPG Archer.
The Archer was based on the Valentine tank chassis, fitted with an Ordnance QF 17 pounder gun facing to the rear. It was designed and manufactured by Vickers-Armstrongs and 655 were produced from March 1943 until the end of the war.
The kit features a detailed open fighting compartment, with gun breech and shell racks.
It comes also with three figures for the Commander, Loader and Gunner.
