ToRo Model offers two new figures in 1/35 scale, both inspired by photographs from Warsaw in 1930s.

35F97 - Man in a bowler hat

The figures are sculpted by Maciej Pawlica and cast in resin

Don't care much for the alleged woman, face looks odd to me... The man is okay but makes me think of a scene from Monty Python...

More useful figs. We can always use more civvies in scale. I agree about the womans' face though. This seem to be a challenge for many sculptors. Very careful use of a dremel and blade should make improvements though. J

And just what do you have against such a good portrait of the young Eleanor Roosevelt? Considering most other civilian female figures are either fashion models or prostitutes we could use a few homely looking ones.

Nice models, which represent the interbellum very well. Remember: not every woman knew about make-up in those days. And European men were dressed that way. But, true, some companies do have very talented artists to do their sales samples..... Not blaming the artist but some Toro models are much better than the sales models suggest.
