ICM Holding is working on to add another kit to its line of ZiL-131 trucks, this time configured as a recovery vehicle.
The ZiL-131 is 3.5t 6x6 general purpose Soviet military that commenced production in 1966. Whilst the basic model was intended to be used as a general cargo truck, it was also used in other roles such as a tractor-trailer truck, a dump truck, a fuel truck, and even as platform for the 9P138 rocket launcher. It is estimated that close to one million of these trucks were produced until 1994. Despite its age, the ZiL-131 is still widely used by the Russian military, as well as a number of other countries.
ZiL-131 MTO-AT, Soviet Recovery Truck (35520) will be offered as an injection-molded kit in 1/35 scale. It will include details in areas such as the chassis, engine, as well the cab interior. A decal sheet with three finishing options will complete the offering.
