I think the guy at bottom left holding his hard hat may be related to David Bowie ?

They guy on the barrel is wearing the Army enlisted raincoat. The captain is wearing a P38 holster and the US compass pouch. The troop on the right is wearing the wool or serge shirt and trousers . Me, I kinda like the steel pots . Supposed to be in Germany 1945 by the appearance. If you must have them in tanker helmets, there's a bunch out there .

I think that you're right except that it would have to be David Bowie's FATHER. I personally would have liked to have seen the set with a better variety of headgear, googles, etc. They're too uniform in their casualness. The sixth figure should be more clearly identifiable too. Maybe yelling at them for being slobs...

Now ain’t that just a classic Armorama oxymoron. If you’ve never spent time in a tank crew you’ll never understand why tankers are experts in being casual.

Now if Andy could come up with a guy and a camera that would REALLY tell the story. Looks nice though and if I didn't have so much other stuff I'd buy it.

Hello, the E8 US are used in Korea or Vietnam War ? Thank you in advance for reply, really appreciated.

Vincenzo- they are late WWII. You can tell by the wrap around leggings on the boots. Korea and Vietnam troops had taller lace-up boots. Although as a tanker n Germany in the 1970s, we were often allowed to buy our own boots, and several of us bought similar wrap around strap "tankers boots". But these figures are WWII only. The US also didn't use the E8 in Vietnam. VR, Russ

In case anyone was wondering. The figure set is based off a real photo. The crew of the M4A3E8 "St. Louis Blues" from the 714th Tank Battalion was posing for a photo on March 24, 1945 in Speyer, Germany. https://texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metapth392474/ Yes, there are 1/35 decals available for "St. Louis Blues".
