More Lady Tankers

Coming late this month from SOL Models are more big scale lady tankers, this time featuring figures of US Army and Bundeswehr tank crews.

U.S.ARMY Female Tank Commander (MM245)
Bundeswehr Female Tank Gunner (MM243)
Bundeswehr Female Tank Loader (MM242)
Bundeswehr Female Tank Commander (MM241)

The Bundeswehr figures will also be available as sets: Bundeswehr Female Tank Commander & Loader (MM240), and Bundeswehr Female Tank Crew (MM239).

All the above are resin kits in 1/16 scale.

Some of these -the Bundeswehr ones in particular- are rather nice, but the blonde on the Browning looks too "Barbi-like" and not very realistic-looking. That they're not offrered in 1/35 is a shame as there is always a good application for a "few good women".

A different painter might get very different results - but her hands look a little stiff and not really posed for doing anything.
