Balaton Modell is soon to release its kit on this WWII-era US artillery tractor.
Manufactured by Allis-Chalmers, the M6 High Speed Tractor was deployed by the US Army in the European theater during the Second World War to tow heavy artillery pieces, such as the 8-inch Gun M1 and 240mm howitzer M1. It is estimated that around 1,200 units were produced during its production cycle from February 1944 to August 1945.

Balaton Modell’s M6 High Speed Tractor (BM3570) will be offered as a resin kit, to include photo-etched parts, a decal sheet, and metal tracks. Target release date is April.

These have always proven to be a fascinating kit and a great alternative to the Tiger vs Sherman debate when it comes to deciding what to build next. Looking forward to the build article on this one.
