HobbyWorld presents their QuickSand Box, a box that can be used for transporting models, as a workshop or as a lightbox.
It is a multiuse box sold in kit format and specially designed for modellers.
An all-in-one box made of high strength and new generation material, PVC Forex 5mm, which is lightweight (a half the rigid PVC), resistant to impacts and can be easily cleaned. It is also resistant to alkalis, most acids, alcohols, petroleum, and saline solutions.

It can be used as a transport box for models, figures, paintings and everything needed to take to any event or destination. Includes 4 metal latches that can be secured by means of flanges, padlocks or any other element that prevents its opening by anyone other than the owner. Its handle made of flexible material is capable of supporting up to 15 Kg.

It is also a It is a workshop box that includes a custom sliding shelf and a small cutting mat to use as a support to carry out any assembly work. The led strip ensures light enough to work comfortably.

It can be a photographic studio as well. Its LED strip diffuses a powerful white light, enough to take pictures of models and figures. Its inverted "U" shape ensures lighting on three sides (top, left and right side). The box includes a reversible gradient background from blue to white and from black to white.

The box is 30x30x15cm and there are 15 different decorations for the exterior. It can be ordered also customized with a personal image.

Interesting, and a little unusual... A review would be worthwhile. Sounds strong though. How are the lights powered, onboard battery? Is that Charles V of Spain in one of the designs? And Hieronymous Bosch...?

They ask 80 euros for a custom box) For such an amount in our city, you can buy a paint box with a backlight (with a rug and a turntable plate) and paste it on the outside with printed custom vinyl.

75 USD (and about 100 CAN) is a little steep for the empty box version, even though some have interesting graphics. And not the type of box I would transport finished models in. I prefer a PVC toolbox with lots of padding.

Pretty neat idea though I was thrown with the ammo-box look...personally can't see spending that much as what I currently use works just fine for far far less.
