Takom announces a new SMK Soviet tank

The SMK was a heavy tank that only reached the prorotype phase, although it was even tested in combat against Finland.

With its two turrets and 55ton it was really huge, requiring a crew of seven.

According to Takom, it will be released in June and will have photoetch details and individual track links

ARRRGGGGHHHH !!! How does Takom do it ? Do they keep their design staff chained to their desks? Mold makers working 7 days a week? My wallet and available free time can't keep up ! The new M60 and to me the previously unknown SMK looks to be good stuff and the M60 on the must list. Thanks Carlos for the news !

I'm pretty excited by the SMK as it is -as far as I know- the first time that this subject has been available in this scale in styrene!Gotta get...drool..precious...

There might have been an OKB version in 1/72 I think, but I may be tempted to buy this instead. Among all the other kits I want to buy. And finish the ones I've did, of course. In fact I would live to be a thousand year old if I could finish everything I want to.
