Dragon comes up with a new 1/35 scale kit of the Brummbär Mid-Production, this being a 2-in-1 item.
The Sd.Kfz.166 Sturmpanzer, more commonly known by its nickname Brummbär (which means “Grouch” incidentally), was based on the Panzer IV chassis and armed with a 15cm StuH 43 L/12 gun. It was designed to give infantry direct-fire support, especially in urban areas.
One of the extremely useful features of this kit is that the vehicle is available either with or without a Zimmerit coating. In the box are all the parts needed to produce a Brummbär.
That means different upper and lower hulls, rear plates and superstructures, either with the Zimmerit pattern without it. The texture of the pattern is stunningly replicated, saving the modeler hours of tedious work.
The kit includes DS track links.
