The latest offering from Ace Model builds a braille scale model of this ubiquitous softskin used by the German forces in WWII.
Widely used in all branches of service, the V3000 differed from the American Ford 3-ton model 1940 by its one piece windshield. An estimated 25,000 units were manufactured from 1942 to 1945.

V-3000 German 3t Truck (Early Flatbed). The kit contains injection-molded parts, photo-etched details, and a decal sheet.

This one has got to be better-detailed than the older Revell Germany kit that I recently suffered through. A good idea would be later on to offer wrecker versions, radio trucks, etc. based on this chassis. This would be a great alternative to the decades-old Italeri Opel Blitzes that were sold before Dragon and Tamiya updated that venerable kit.
