Thank You, Carlos! Well, this little Marine looks GREAT to me! We can NEVER have enough WWII Pacific Theatre Marines!!!

I agree 1,000%. I might be wrong but this should only be used for the early campaign islands as the practice of the tc being exposed went away early as the casualty numbers increased.

Is it me or the figure just looks off balanced and about to fall?
APR 16, 2019 - 06:09 AM
No, it's not just you. I feel the same way about his posture. Almost looks like he was hit and is falling backwards.

Overthinking it guys.....right hand pulling on the .50 cal grip and left foot fwd, right foot back bracing. Standing up on a moving armoured vehicle also trying to maintain balance while moving over terrain. Excellent dynamic posed figure.

JASON IS RIGHT!!! I knew there would be people criticizing this new figure's posture/pose. When I first saw him I almost thought the same thing the other guys are saying, but once I looked at what was going on in relation to the .50 cal, the Tank AND the terrain, I said to myself, "YEAH... This FITS!"

Thank you Dennis...apart from being a grunt for five years and actually riding on a Leopard tank guiding a troop into our position, I can totally relate to the movement/ posturing of the figure. Secondly when it comes to modelling figures and I'm unsure of a realistic stance/ pose/ look, then I will physically stand up and pose the same to make sure my figures are anatomically correct for their scene...anyway that just what I do...LOL

Hi, Jason! Hey, whatever works for you! I've seen WWII photos and film clips of TCs outside of their Tanks, and they looked a little bit odd as far as their body-stances were concerned... I'm going to get this little guy sometime, and I'm going to see what I can do with him aboard an early 56-degree Hull M4A2 75mm (Dry)... Tarawa, perhaps..?
