DML have just sent us images of their new Gun Crew set in 1/35th scale.

Specifically designed to provide a crew for DRA 6392 - German sFH 18 Howitzer this new set consists of five figures:

DRA 6461 - German Field Howitzer Crew Apart from the five crew figures themselves, a number of bonus items are also included in the set. These include items such as a Ram-rod or sighting poles along with the wicker round-storage cases, propellant charges, ground mats and two different types of shell.

The figures themselves, as can be seen from the artwork, come in full field-dress and include personal equipment from the Gen II range.

At the moment, this set is suitable for early-war dioramas and we can but hope that they'll announce a couple of additional sets covering mid and late war artillery crew.

Fingers crossed that a suitable Prime-Mover is also on the drawing-boards...
