ICM has continued to combine model offerings in order to provide something different, This time they have combined their Standard B Liberty truck with the WW1 US Infantry in 1/35th scale.
The combination of the Standard B Liberty truck with the WW1 US Infantry in 1/35th scale is a nice combination, but I would urge ICM to include their WW1 US drivers in this mix in order to provide a more complete scene. The Liberty B truck is a lovely model that goes together well and looks the part. The WW1 US infantry is a well designed set that could be used to show troops either loading or unloading from the truck.

I LIKE the idea of ICM combining figure sets with their Vehicles! I think that this lends to modelers' imaginations, and it opens up a lot of ideas for dios!

Interesting that ICM did not include their vehicle driver and commander figures in this new combo set. Completed Commander Figure (Just adding these notes to enhance overall product awareness.)

I am also a big fan of how ICM is taking products and mixing and matching them in order to provide a setting that only requires the base. I do wish that a little more thought was added as regards things such as adding the drivers to this set, but I also have to remember that the driver set is a very recent release in which they want some return on first.

I couldn't agree more. It definitely stimulates the imagination and helps builders not as well versed in certain subjects develop a plan. I adore Ron Volstad's artwork and have always looked to the background for inspiration! This goes a step further.
