Meng Model updates its Magach 6B offering with this new kit release.
From the manufacturer: Because of the harsh external environment it faced, Israel didn’t have many choices when it purchased weapons. Normally it would take anything they needed, like the M60 series tanks. The IDF was equipped with a number of Patton variants and upgraded those tanks. The Magach 6B GAL was the Israeli modernized version of the M60A1 RISE main battle tank. Like other Magach tanks, it received add-on armor and other components to deal with different threats. This tank was used in the low intensity conflicts that IDF often faced.

Israel Main Battle Tank Magach 6B GAL. The kit builds a highly detailed model with features such as: digitally sculpted mantlet canvas cover, movable suspension, workable tracks, photo-etched details, and clear parts. Also included is a track assembly jig. As built, the model stands 265mm long and 104mm wide.

I really do like the look of this model and it will be a great tank to display next to a Merkava IV.

The IDF sure do field some cool armour, not to mention fascinating reuse of other armies' gear. This Uber-M60 is a good example.

Interesting choice of entry into the M60 market! Looks good from the CAD - are those welds I see on the engine cover? So far only AFV Club noticed these details...

I'm betting that they will come out with an M60A3 shortly because I just finished one from Revell!!!

AFV Club already has a very good M60A3 version (see here https://www.scalemates.com/kits/afv-club-af35249-m60a3-tts--963462 I highly doubt it Meng will release an US M60A3 as lately most of the companies seem to avoid doing the same version that someone already released recently (unless it's a high profile subject like a Tiger or Panther).

The Esci/Revell 1/35 M60A3 is a different production variant from the AFV-CLUB. And there's a couple of bits on M60A3 no manufacturer has done yet.

It is actually Meng's second entry into the M60 market. They introduced the Megach 6B Gal Batash kit last year. It looks to be a very nice kit. Here is a build log of Meng's Megach 6B Gal Batash kit at Missing Links.
