Bolddivision offers a treat to what-if enthusiasts with its take on the German Sturmgeschütz.
Sturmgeschütz V (35031). The kit Friulmodel tracks and wheels, metal gun barrel, photo-etched parts, white styrene, and a camo mask from Solidscale. Modelers have the option to order the kit with either the 8.8cm or 10.5cm gun.

Interesting possibility but the Germans actually built something much like this: it was called a Jagdpanther. The gun and wheels seem to be carry-overs; the box at the base of the gun's saukopf would make a nasty shot-trap so I'd redesign that one. The rest appears ballistically well-formed. I'm guessing that the angle iron on the left glacis is for bullet-splash but seems rather few to do the job effectively. Was this one pure speculation on their part or are their vague napkin drawings from WW2 that actually played with this idea, and why if it seems to be an albeit lower-profile Jagdpanther?
