Looks good. Too bad the CJ2A conversion is not in 1/35. That would be really good.

I would agree, very cool but all my armor is 1/35. Make this conversion 1/35 and I'd get real quick.

I know about the Black Dog fire truck, but it is not complete for a CJ-2A as it only has the new front grill, windshield, and a partial rear plate. It is missing the rear tailgate and all its hardware and the side panels should be different to include the fuel filler inset on the driver's side and side-mounted spare tire. You also have to spend an arm and a leg and get all the firefighter stuff I don't need/want.

I agree, the Black Dog CJ-2A Firetruck is a start, but I would just like a complete conversion so I don't have to buy multiple conversions sets (Accurate Armour CJ-5 conversion for the tailgate parts) and still do scratch-building (fuel filler, tire, etc...) to get what I want. Then I still have a bunch of useless (to me) firefighting equipment to deal with. Cost is always relative and I have been known (on quite a few occasions) to spend plenty on different sets go build what I am looking for. Current example: Last night, I started work on an M920 MET w/M870A1 trailer with a front loader as a load. I am looking at three different kits, sprues from two others, and quite a bit of scratch work to combine into what I am after. I will be stating a build thread on it soon.
