MENG announced their new kit - a British Warrior AIFV in its latest configuration.
The FV510 Warrior is the British Armyís principal infantry fighting vehicle. Since 1984, it has taken part in the military operations with the British Army in Iraq, the Balkan Peninsula and Afghanistan. Like the British Challenger series main battle tanks of the same period, the Warrior also has excellent protection. In response to new combat environment and missions, the British Army has upgraded the Warrior to make it have better combat capability in the new environment. This brand-new variant is the FV510 Warrior TES(H) which is now in military service.

This MENG SS-017 British FV510 Warrior TES(H) AIFV model kit will present you the latest Warrior AIFV configuration. We have developed this product with the support of Mr. Carl Schulze who's the author of the book Tankograd In Detail: Fast Track-WARRIOR FV510(H). He's also a defense specialized journalist. This kit includes movable suspension, workable tracks, a track assembly jig, a metal barrel, find PE parts and a road wheel painting mask. All hatches are openable and all optical parts are clear. The finished model is 218.6mm long and 117.7mm wide. Itís time to experience the Warrior of the new era!

I wonder if it also could be build as a non-TES version. If yes, I will send my Academy kit to the trashcan.

Very welcome release. I built the old Academy one and spent a "Month of Sundays" fixing the issues...

It would be really nice if they did a separate full interior for it like they did for their M3A3 Bradley kit.

Fantastic-looking kit! It seems that the slat armour is in plastic but looks clean and -almost- to scale so that I won't have to go gibbering on a PE set so I'm in. The track jig caught my eye and I'd really like to see how this works and if it'll work on other vehicles' tacks.

bring it on! I'm praying for an interior too that would be the bee's knees.

To think I have the Accurate Armour photoetch set for the Academy Warrior from yesteryear in the stash. Along with Star decals to match. And, this is already reduced at hobbyeasy, due next month. Clearly not an April foolís prank then.
