1/72 Sd.Kfz.251/2 Ausf.D Stuka zu Fuss from DML

Dragon are to release the Sd.Kfz.251/2 Ausf.D with 28cm Rockets and Steel Frame Crates in Braille scale.

This 1/72 scale Sd.Kfz. 251 halftrack kit, number DRA 7348 in their 1/72 Armor Pro series, comes with the following details;

- New photo-etched rocket crates
- 28cm rockets included (x6, in plastic)
- Three mounting plates accurately reproduced in different patterns.
- Road wheels come connected for ease of assembly.
- Photo-etched parts.
- Cartograf decals offers accurate marking for 4 vehicles.
- One-piece DS tracks.

Expected release date April 2008.

Hopefully this is a case of upscaling and a 1/35th version is on the way. Of all the 251D models DML does, I dont get why they have not done one of these in 1/35th.. I got tired of waiting, so I am doing something about it. I've got the launcher assemblies from the ancient Tamiya kit done up, and will match them with the parts from the /C kit to get a set of rockets to fit onto a vanilla DML 251. THAT's when DML will do one. Mike
