It isn't really a "new" kit. It is just new decals, paper boxes, and a few new parts added to their Mercedes 170V delivery van, which was released last year (2019).

Agree...it's like paying 40-50 bucks just for a different decal sheet.

If one doesn’t have the original kit why is it a problem?

This would be the third version of the delivery van First: LINK Beer/Beverages as cargo Second: LINK Adds the roof rack, the cart and bits and pieces for cargo boxes. Decals for a number of civilian version including one for Deutsche Post in the 1950'ies Third: LINK New decals for military version, military ambulance, Reichspost (postal services before 1945) and Reichsbahn. The Notek light has been included in other militarised versions of the sedan and cabrio bodies on the 170V and it is present on all the other 170V variants since it is on the same sprue as most of the engine parts.

actually really like how Miniart maxes out their moulds. I have bought two of the lieferwagen kits and they are top quality. For those who want a military version; now this one is coming. I do think that when they release a new kit that i will not immideately buy it, perhaps better to wait for alternate versions as this company will always release a lot of different versions of the same subject.

Im happy about this kit, Ive gone on a long term plan to do as much Medical stuff from the war, both side, as I can. So, this interests me. Thanks Mini Art!
