Almost immediately after releasing the first volume of the Churchill monograph, AJ-Press publishing house has announced a new book on EARLY French Armor.
GP29 - Schneider CA, St. Chamond
Composed of 136 pages and containing 122 black and white photos, 4 colour photos, 8 pages of scale plans, 5 maps and 12 colour plates, the book, by Witold Ławrynowicz, in publisher's words " tells the story of French armour origin, and desribes development of doctrine of its use on battlefields of WWI, as well as Schneider CAs and St. Chamonds service".
While the info on the book is quite sparse (AJ-Press hasn't decided to put up any samples on the website), knowing the publisher's reputation (especially after titles such as their Japanese Armor series), the book might be a highly satisfying read. Plus, it's fully bilingual.
While it will eventually appear on Air Connection (if it hasn't already), it is already available from Jadar Model - in fact, I have seen the book in their "traditional" store in Warsaw.
