Dragon have announced a 1/35 scale kit of the 75 mm M4 Sherman.
This kit M4 Sherman 75mm Normandy (Item 6511) is a non DV hull type and although it shares many parts with Dragon’s other Shermans it comes with many new features some of which are:
A new turret with cast texture.
A new tooled sealed pistol port (- I’m not sure how common this was)
Three types of transmission cover
One piece T51 tracks in DS plastic
New radio bracket
Although we will probably hear the cry of “Oh no not another Sherman” from many quarters, modelers have been asking for this kit for a long time to replace the old problematic Tamiya M4.
No word of a release date yet.
