Hey, Moustafa, thanks for the offer. I contacted them with my credit card info. and they said they'd send it over. If something goes wrong, I'll take you up on your offer. By the way, it's great to see a fellow Arab in this hobby. I don't know of any modellers here in Egypt Thanks again Hisham

Hi Moustafa, kifak man, how can i get a set here in Lebanon?
NOV 05, 2009 - 07:26 PM
Hey Jamal and Moustafa.. good to see you two here. You know, I was born and raised in Ras-Beirut (Nazlet Abou Taleb) and went to school at IC and then at AUB. I remember buying Tamiya kits at "Toyland" in Hamra street. I wonder if it's still there and sells kits? Man, this brings back nice memories. I didn't leave Lebanon until the Invasion of 1982 when I was 22 y/o. Anyway, hope to see more of you here on Armorama. And Moustafa, you've got a nice line of books there. Congrats on that. Maybe you can make another decal set for vehicles like the M113.. or smaller vehicles like LandRovers or jeeps. Regards Hisham

Hey Hisham, thats mean there are 2 and a half lebanese members here , I used to buy Tamiya at "toyfair" in Hamra back in the late 80s, but now theres "wild willy" who sells tamiya and italeri in Hamra, hobbymax (if im not mistaken) in Dawra is Tamiyas agent and elite group in Ein el Remeneh who sells Academy, Trump, Dragon and other brands.

That's right.. it's "Toyfair" not "Toyland". I guess I'm getting old and my memory is going weak And to tell you the truth, I feel more Lebanese than I feel Egyptian. I bought some kits from Elite Group on-line a couple of years ago, and I got his book about the civil war. He seems to be a nice guy. Well, I guess I'll be seeing you around here. Take care Hisham
