For the super-detailers, one of the greatest sources of the smallest details on vehicles, have always been the officially produced technical manuals. However, the originals are increasingly rare (and expensive) and printed reproductions can also require a sizeable outlay. The ideal format is therefore CD-Roms - of which Easy 1 productions is the major publisher

Four new CDs in the Easy 1 Productions line of vehicle and ordnance technical manuals have been announced. Included are the first two CDs on post-war vehicles. The fifth, is a relatively new departure for the compant, reproducing a U.S. technical manual on a widely-modeled piece of German ordnance.

Also, recently updated, is T017 on US half-tracks with manuals on the 37mm and quad .50 anti-aircraft gun manuals.

The format combines good-quality scans of the manuals (some of which run to 300+ pages) along with the bonus of some additional photos of preserved examples.
