Recently, we ran the story of DML's LWS (Land Wasser Schlepper) in 1/35th scale. Now, the story takes another turn...
Now, considering how few LWS' were actually built, there have been a surprising amount in plastic (five at the latest count). Four cover the PRODUCTION vehicle, the fifth, the prototype. This was the model which was announced by Dragon.
However, never a company to let the grass grow beneath their feet, now a limited run model will be available from September 2010 with:
6669C: Panzer Ferry Set
The set includes the first TWO prototypes of the LWS along with a section of floating road section - to produce a vehicle ferry.
