Another day, another figure set from Dragon. Once again, the company are being true to their core-releases, with another set of German Panzergrenadiers,
The new set, which has just been anounced is:

6648 - Panzergrenadier Arnhem 1944

Four figures, 2 infantry and two AFV crewmen are what's on offer with this set. The latter seem the most interesting as they're almost a vignette in their own right. Once again, interesting to see that Dragon are following the lead set by a couple of the Eastern European manufacturers....

The set is within the company's '39-45 Series' with personal equipment & weapons listed as 'Gen2Gear' now that is REALLY snappy!

Yes, it definitively looks like Yosci works, same attitude, same face. For me, yes pictures are not very good, but you can see that those figures are promising, all of them having personality. Unfortuynately, as already mentioned, they are germans... Best, Julien

Nice review, I have been looking for plastic figures to go with a Kursk dio I had in mind. The figure with the rifle is a nice pose. Great conversion possibilities with this set.

Looks like Yoshi's work because it is Yoshi's work. Good to see DML stick to what they're good at: WWII German!

Without discussing the quality this is, as someone already stated, again another set of Germans. Without too much trouble you may find all poses possible in all kind of uniforms of the German army. But, dear DML guys, when, oh when, do you start the same quality sets with Allied soldiers? Again: the quality is great. It is just the subject I would like to discuss. Anyone out there who agrees?

Persoanlly, if DML never did another Allied set, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Why? Simply because both MiniArt and Masterbox are doing a series of absolutely first-rate releases. So, better DML continues with their strong suit. I wasn't there in person, but NONE of the contemporary photos of Market Garden have EVER shown snow...

The set looks interesting and useful for dioramas. Dragon seems to be pushing wounded soldiers as they have been depicted in several recent releases as well as in the still unreleased Peleilu set.

Dear Jim, The impression of snow might be caused by the art work. However, having looked at the photos of Market Garden it shows that quite some debries was on the street. Maybe that is what the artist tried to show. Living in The Netherlands: yes, there is no snow in mid september! Though, the winter of 44/45 was for Dutch standards extremely cold so the guys on the picture had something in their furture.

Not for Arnhem, at least for the wounded crewmen. As the artwork suggests, maybe a Pzkpfw IV or an Assault gun, but no WSS KT's were present ( in ARNHEM). maybe a Normandy, or even Battle of the Bulge withdrawal dio, perhaps?

No, they certainly aren't. Unfortunately, they keep insisting on 'white' images of the figures which lose so much contrast, it makes it difficult to give a crisp image. Consider the contradiction. DMLUSA advertises with us and DML sponsors the DMoM. DML has put us (like many others including PMMS) on a type of 'Black-List' which means they DON'T notify us of new releases. Frankly, I don't give a damn as Bronco, HB, Trump, Masterbox, ICM, etc. etc. etc. STILL keep us brilliantly informed... Of course if they continued sending us images DIRECTLY (rather than to 1 or 2 small sites who are lucky to get 4-500 page views) the images would come in 16-17 MBi files which would give an infinitiely crisp image. This comes from an image which is only 2.5 MB... Go figure! [/quote] This gave me a good laugh Jim, thanks I needed that
