The Swedish Publisher, Canfora Design & Publishing, have just sent us details of two NEW books which should be of great interest to modelers.

The first, is:

PANTHER

The new book on the Panther tank includes 10 subjects and many unpublished photos as well as maps and post war photos of battlefield 'wrecks'.

The modellers involved in the book are: Mirko Bayerl, Toni Canfora, Lester Plaskitt, Brian Murdoch, Phil Stutcinkas, Darren Gawle, Roddy MacDougall, Gunnar Jansson, Markus Eriksson and Roger Hurkmans. 144 pages.

An amazing collection of photos of German, Russian, U.S and British vehicles on the Czech territories. At the end of the war in May 1945 thousands of vehicles passed Czechislovakian territory. The Germans were retreating West wards as the Red Army pressed on. From the West came U.S forces and the Czech Indipendent Armoured brigade. Panther, Pz. IV, Tiger, Jagdpanzer IV, Hetzer, Grille, SPWs, Hummel, StuGs and many more German vehicles are covered. Russian vehicles include T-34, IS-2, SU-85/100, SU-76, ISU-152 and more. U.S and British vehicles include Sherman, Chafee, Hellcat, M8, A-30 Challenger, Cromwell, Stuart to mention a few. The book also includes a chapter covering the German invasion of Czechoslovakia as well as a chapter on the Russian invasion in 1968.
