Ballaton Modell send us news of a new 1/72 release, as well as something a little bit different from the Braille Scale specialists, a 1/35 weapon kit.
Continuing their line of excellent and highly detailed 1/72 kits, Balaton have just released an Eagle IV. The attention to detail is again to the same high standard we are used to with Balaton, and the kit includes Photo Etch and perspex windscreens.

A new and different item on the Balaton catalogue is their 9K38 Igla AA missile kit in 1/35 scale. Balaton have micro detailed this missile kit much in the same way as they super detail their smaller vehicles. Cast in resin and with a separate crate, the accessory is likely to find numerous uses on both dioramas and with 35 scale figures.

Our thanks to Gabor of Balaton Modell for the news and photos.

Having seen the 9K38 Igla AA being built and painted, it is a very nice detail to modern Russian vignettes/dios.

I really dig the Eagle IV, nice to see that it comes with clear film for the windows. The 1/35 9K38 Igla is impressive looking as well.
