I've seen people building that Monogram "Rommel's Rod" in a variety of ways. Now they can make a realistic piece (or start at a more realistic point when they go off on their wild builds! ). You'll note that despite it being a CAD generated image they have heavily airbrushed on the underside with a dense shadow which makes me think there is no detail there to show, so in my opinion its unlikely that this is a image of the actual model in progress/development as Dragon do on their release posters. Looks more like something "off the shelf" from one of the many pre-made CAD model sites to me. If people remember ICM back at the Nuremberg Show early this year announced they were doing this as a subject, with 3 figures included. Alan

This has a lot to do with my lack of interest in a lot of these advertisement features ... from any company. I mush preffered the news of a new model when it was almost available for release. Theres too much of this happening today.

Exciting news! I remember building one from a Japanese company (Imai?) when I was a kid. It was rather chunky looking with an awful set of figures, but it was the only game in town. It's odd that CH is doing this, presumably as a limited edition? All that new tooling for a vehicle that, like the Neubaufahrzeug, doesn't have many options for reboxing?
