Vulcan Scale Models captured the headlines previously with a very unique release in the form of the British 2-Pounder AT Gun. This time, with the announcement of a British Light Tank Mk VI B in 1/35th scale.
Little in the way of details as yet, but we've been provided with images of the built-up model.

So, why is this so significant? Well similar to the previous bombshells such as the Churchills, the Valentine variants or all the British A/Cs we've been getting, this demonstrates that British Armor is no longer simply the domain of the Resin Manufacturers. After years in a virtual wilderness, the British/Commonwealth enthusiast is getting the releases they could previously only dream of.

Not only the British enthusiast though - a fair number of these vehicles were captured by the Germans after the Fall of France and saw service as BeutePanzers...

Acknowledgements to Leo (of Lionmarc Model Designs) and Saul Garcia for the images - thank you gentlemen!

I've already done them both Gary so it looks like I'm not the one with the jinx.

Excellent effort Vulcan Models. The detail is by far exquisite for a plastic model, including photo etch for the fine parts and the springs give the added realism . The track looks very finely produced as well.A big thumbs up all round . The Vulcan 2 pounder gun and crew are a perfect start into the industry and are well worth the money. I found the gun crew are well detailed for plastic figures and the heads are very similar to hornet quality. Thanks Michael

Love these inter-war/early war tankettes as they offer lots of "what if"/steampunk possiblities.

It pleases me that manufacturers like Vulcan and others are now turning their attention to British Armor and softskins. I hope to see more of least well known but significant models.
