Not being a regular German modeler, I’ll not comment on accuracy, but rather take a look at what you get, and how well it looks.
What’s in the package is typical Eduard etchings; the larger fret contains all the casings for the radios, and is up to Eduards’ usual high standards. A folding tool will probably be the best way of folding the fine lips on the case covers. The instructions show using 2mm by 2mm plastic blocks placed on the inside of each case to hold the radio faces in place and at the proper distance from the front. Unfortunately there is no measurement as to what this distance is, nor is the plastic included, so you are left using the MkI eyeball, and whatever plastic strip you have laying about to do this. Not really a major problem as I don’t think the set is designed for the new modeler without the proper supplies or tools needed to complete the set.
All the latches, handles etc. are separate tiny etchings and will be a challenge to those of us with ham fists, and vision problems, (The carpet monster will be well fed, so be forewarned!). The second fret contains the prepainted color radio faces and straps. (And a few more munchies for the carpet monster!)
the radios
What radios do you get? Well as I said, I know next to nothing about German radios, so I’ll just list them here, and hopefully others will chime in with better details, and information. (HINT: I promise I will not get upset with any corrections—nor will I take my toys and go home and have any resentments against anyone willing to set the record straight, and I may even learn a little bit about German radios along the way!)
Listed radios are as follows: •Torn Fu. D2, this appears to be in 2 versions. •Torn Fu. b1, and again this appears to be presented in 2 versions. • Fu. 11, this appears to be in 1 version. • Fu. 9, again it is presented in 1 version • And then there is the mystery set. Labeled “c” you make up two boxes with two different faces, then stack them.
The instructions show you where to wire up the headset, and telegraph key, but no other wiring details are included.
No Photo etched was harmed (---YET---) in the making of this review.
SUMMARY
Highs: As always from Eduard, crisp well etched parts. Sure to warm the German vehicle modelers heart.Lows: For those with ham fists, and vision challenged, there are some extremely tiny parts. Will probably breed new inventive words. Verdict: As usual, a nice set from Eduard, which requires a little extra research to bring out the best in this affordable addition to your latest scene or vehicle.

I'm rewriting this in a much more humoristic way, to help over inflate my ego, and place my self on a pedestal, because I don't have a life, and plastic models are the only thing I live for. I plead guilty as charged to excessive babble, light hearted humor, and continued encouragement to youngsters...
