Plus Model has an extended range from full, unique resin kits of unusual subject matter, resin conversion kits for existing models to beautifully rendered accessories in various scales to enhance dioramas. They also carry a few resin figure sets, mostly civilians or soldiers of various nations in non-combat settings.
review
Packaged in a small box with a full color image on the front, this kit contains five (5) resin parts, that when assembled will build two figures. Two full bodies with one arm cast on each, two separate arms and one ottoman, or low upholstered stool, make up the parts. Cast in a light grey resin there is a minimal amount of flash and very light seam lines.
I’m not sure what setting the folks at Plus Model had in mind when they produced “Girls”, as the figures seem to be in more of a boudoir mode as both are scantily clad; one in a negligee, the other wearing a slip.
Both figures are wearing high heels.
One of the ’girls’ is experiencing (what we in the U.S. have come to know as) a ‘wardrobe malfunction’, as the top of her slip has fallen, exposing a breast. She is apparently admiring herself in a hand held mirror.
The other figure, it appears, is either putting on or taking off a nylon stocking with her foot resting on the stool.
The poses are a bit awkward and stiff, but that is the least of the ‘girl’s’ problems. The figures possess two of the most unfeminine faces I have seen on female figurines. Both figures appear, to me, to have female hair sculpted on generic male heads.
conclusion
I suppose if you’re modeling a bordello with exceedingly unattractive women this kit might work for you. I’m not an expert on ladies undergarments or nightclothes of the 40’s, but the outfits on these figures are just plain unattractive.
SUMMARY
Highs: Nice casting with minimal flash and seam lines.Lows: Awkward poses. Masculine looking faces. Strange outfits.Verdict: Personally, these ‘girls’ are way too unattractive - physically, facially and sartorially - to occupy space on any diorama I would build.

Dave that hurt having been born in Woolwich military hospital (I hope the nurses didn't look like that).[/quote]
I did my basic training in Woolwich. The nurses at the hospital wouldn't have anything to do with anyone with less than 3 pips on their shoulders. The locals didn't want us either so Friday and Saturday nights we were Soho bound/
HAHAHAHAHA to the comments.
I think the one on the right is meant to be a drag queen. Has to be. You mean it's not? Oi-vey.
The one on the left is 12 pack material. I have chewed my arm off before, but whew.
4 years without a drink. Thank God.
However.... I see the point that the fellow from England made. A few months in combat and well, options being what they were... so hey! What the heck!
Manly woman voice " Uhhhh my name eees Druseeela and I am female member of national shotput team"
Wow... these are really ugly well... chicks? Brrrrr....
All I can say is that I feel bad somehow... Imagine that sculptor: he may really think that these girls ARE attractive... too bad for him...
OK... casting is good
